Job Title: Sterile Compounding Technician
Pay: $25-35/hr
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday – Friday

What You’ll Do:
As a Sterile Compounding Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing sterilization procedures and maintaining strict sterility in medication preparation areas to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
  • Accurately entering prescription orders into the pharmacy system and verifying patient information to ensure precise medication dispensing.
  • Filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
  • Adhering to safety, health, and regulatory standards to maintain a compliant and clean work environment.
  • Supporting the preparation of sterile medications in accordance with pharmacy standards and protocols.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A valid Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy technician license.
  • PTCB or NHA certification is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of pharmacy laws, sterile techniques, and medication handling.
  • Prior experience in sterile compounding is a plus, or a strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
