Job Title: Order Entry Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $18.50/hr
Hours: Mon-Fri 10:30am - 7pm

As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations with precision and professionalism. What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician certification with the State of Florida. Preferred – national certification (CPhT).
  • Minimum of one year of pharmacy experience.


What You'll Do
As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Executing routine pharmacy tasks in alignment with standard operating procedures.
  • Safeguarding protected health information (PHI) and ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws.
  • Authenticating patients by cross-referencing demographic data before order entry.
  • Reviewing all medication orders meticulously for accuracy prior to fulfillment.
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining precise electronic health profiles for patients.
  • Upholding organizational standards and guidelines to ensure quality and safety.
  • Conducting thorough quality assurance checks before medications are dispatched.
  • Performing administrative and operational tasks as assigned by management.
