Job Title: Intake Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM

As an Intake Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in initiating patient journeys, serving as the “front door of the pharmacy.” You’ll work closely with our dedicated pharmacy team to provide precise data entry and ensure seamless patient onboarding, helping us deliver excellence in patient care.

What You’ll Do:
As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
  • Acting as the first line of support in initiating the patient journey, receiving and processing new prescriptions and enrollment forms.
  • Performing accurate data entry into pharmacy systems, including McKesson Enterprise RX.
  • Managing complex intake workflows while maintaining a customer service mindset.
  • Responding to inbound communications from prescriber offices, clarifying prescriptions and verbal orders.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate medication access for patients through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with the internal pharmacy team to facilitate a smooth patient onboarding experience.

What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a pharmacy setting.
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with pharmacy or healthcare software.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • The ability to efficiently manage complex intake workflows.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting, Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), and familiarity with prescription management and insurance verification processes.
