Urgently Hiring Staff Pharmacist in Carmel, Indiana – Immediate Opening!

Job Title: Staff Pharmacist

Pay: $130,000 - $145,000 depending on licensure/experience

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM-5PM

Start Date: ASAP

As a Staff Pharmacist, you'll play a key role in dispensing medications and medical equipment, assessing therapy appropriateness, documenting patient progress, and providing medication education in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with the Pharmacy Manager or Director of Pharmacy to deliver exceptional patient care and support.

What You'll Do:

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:
  • Assess patient suitability for home care and appropriateness of prescribed therapy
  • Develop individualized pharmacy care plans and review laboratory results
  • Counsel patients and caregivers on prescribed therapy and medication use
  • Ensure accurate prescription order entry, medication concentration, and proper storage
  • Oversee compounding activities and ensure compliance with USP <797> standards

What You'll Bring:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (PharmD or MS in Pharmacy preferred)
  • Current state pharmacy license
  • Minimum 2 years acute-care experience OR 1 year home infusion therapy experience
  • Strong knowledge of IV admixture services and IV therapy
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to regulatory compliance
