Job Description


Job Title: Pharmacist - Closed Door, Dispensing Pharmacy

Pay: $120-130K based on experience with a generous PTO program

Hours: Monday through Friday (no weekends, no on-call!), day shift with flexible start times

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Pharmacist for a full-time position for our client, a closed-door dispensing pharmacy located in Columbus, Ohio. The Pharmacist will ensure accurate dispensing of medications, conduct drug utilization reviews, and deliver patient-centered services. The Pharmacist will thrive in a strong work culture with positive attitudes and team players, supportive encouragement from leadership, and management dedicated to fostering long-term careers and professional growth! 

As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for:

  • Verifying the accurate dispensing of medications, ensuring correct patient, dosage, and route administration

  • Perform patient-focused services, thorough drug utilization reviews and consultations and medication therapy management

  • Uphold a clean, safe, and regulation-compliant environment

  • Supervise, train, and support pharmacy technicians, interns, and other team members as needed

  • Manage inventory processes, ensuring proper handling and documentation of controlled substances

  • Contribute to administrative duties that enhance operational efficiency and promote high-quality patient care

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A current, active pharmacist license in Ohio in good standing.
  • Confidence learning new technologies and pharmacy systems
  • A strong sense of reliability, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
