Job Title: Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist Urgently Hiring

Pay: $57.50-59.50/hr + shift differentials

Hours: Overnight 7 on 7 off (~6pm to 6am)

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist for a full-time position for our client, a hospital system. The Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will provide specialized clinical pharmacy services during overnight shifts on a 7 on 7 off schedule (Thursday to Wednesday rotation). The Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will successfully deliver critical pharmaceutical care to emergency department patients, collaborate effectively with the medical team during high-stress situations, and optimize medication therapy outcomes in fast-paced emergency settings. This is a full-time overnight position with every other weekend requirement.

As an Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to emergency department patients during overnight hours
  • Review and monitor medication orders for appropriateness and safety
  • Collaborate with emergency medicine physicians and nursing staff on patient care decisions
  • Conduct medication reconciliation and counseling for emergency department patients

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from accredited institution
  • PGY1 Pharmacy Residency OR minimum 3 years of clinical pharmacy specialist experience in hospital setting
  • PGY2 Residency in critical care or emergency medicine preferred
  • Current pharmacy license in good standing

  • Annual pay increases of 2.5-4% per year of experience
  • Shift differentials: $2.75 (3p-11p), $5.00 (11p-7a), $3.00 (weekends)
  • Possible sign-on bonus up to $30,000
