Pharmacy Technician: Urgently Hiring
Pay: $18-23/hr (based on experience)
Hours: Weekdays 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 7 PM with weekend rotation (Saturday/Sunday 10AM-2PM)
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time position for our client, a specialized fertility treatment pharmacy located in Miami, FL. The Pharmacy Technician will provide essential support in processing prescriptions, managing insurance benefits, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Pharmacy Technician ensures patients receive their fertility medications accurately and timely while navigating complex insurance processes with empathy and precision. This is a permanent on-site position located in Miami, FL.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Process prescriptions and refills according to pharmacy protocols and physician orders.
  • Obtain and verify insurance benefits for specialty medications to ensure patient coverage.
  • Handle prior authorizations and appeals to maximize medication access for patients.
  • Coordinate with patients, physicians, and insurance companies to resolve medication-related issues.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Registered/Licensed Pharmacy Technician certification with the State of Florida
  • Minimum 1 year of healthcare or customer service experience
