2nd and 3rd Shift Pharmacy Technicians — Urgently hiring in Independence!

Job Title: 2nd and 3rd Shift Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $19 - $21 per hour
Hours:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

  • 3rd Shift: Sunday evening – Friday morning, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM

As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a vital role in fulfilling medication orders, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance. Work closely with pharmacists and team members to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Assisting in the fulfillment of medication orders, including picking, packing, and labeling prescriptions accurately
  • Maintaining inventory levels and conducting stock checks to ensure medications are readily available
  • Collaborating with pharmacists and colleagues to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion
  • Following pharmacy procedures and standards to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Using pharmacy software systems to input and track prescription orders efficiently
  • Keeping the work environment clean and organized to promote safety and efficiency

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Pharmacy Technician experience, with a solid understanding of pharmacy operations
  • Active Trainee, Registered, or Certified license with the OH Board of Pharmacy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow established protocols
